Fairly interesting game with a unique art style, maybe I was hyped too much by your description but the game is a little underwhelming, I mean the concept is definitely there but without reading the instructions from the itchio page is hard to understand the game at all.
I do like the dash mechanic to catch the jellyfish but it seems that by keeping it pressed you become invulnerable rendering the attacks of the squid useless.
Maybe adding an ending after killing the squid would be nice and some kind of progression with the leveling (Like maybe you get faster or physically bigger with each level) Sorry if I am saying too much but I feel this could be a really fun game with a little more added to it.
